Bilcare Research participated in 3rd International Conference on Combating Counterfeiting & Piracy organized by CII.

Bilcare Research participated in a two day conference, the 3rd International Conference on Combating Counterfeiting & Piracy at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). To counter growth trends in international piracy, the conference brought together experts from the Indian Government, security professionals and corporate executives from across the world.

Raman Nanda, President of Bilcare Technologies, spoke at the opening session along with corporate executives and senior Indian Government officials in a panel discussion. The discussion examined and discussed current trends in co-operation and co-ordination between the private and public sectors in security enforcement.

The discussion ranged around implications of counterfeiting and piracy for competitiveness, innovation, economic growth and job losses. Measures were discussed to encourage the co-operation of corporate executives and senior government officials in the fight against Counterfeiting.

Mr. Nanda also participated in the afternoon discussion on various counterfeiting threats, outlining problems that arise from the proliferation of counterfeit goods, or that help exacerbate the threat. Praful Naik, Executive Director at Bilcare Research, discussed what's next in the fight against counterfeiting at the second day of the conference.
