Keeping in line with our concerted focus on research and development, Bilcare Research has
co-sponsored an information sharing seminar with the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI). On Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Scitech Centre in Mumbai, leading industry scions came together for our seminar on “Consumer Safety Through Anti-Counterfeiting Technologies: A Pharmaceutical Perspective.”

The discussion centered around three main topics: New Technologies in Anti-Counterfeiting, Advances in Printing, Packaging, and Allied Technologies and Legal Perspectives on Anti-Counterfeiting. The day-long seminar was followed by an informal reception, sponsored by the Coesia Group, where delegates had the opportunity to network and relax.

Dr. Praful Naik, Chief Scientific Officer from Bilcare Research (India), presented a paper to industry veterans and delegates on “Non-Clonable™ Security Technology – An End to Counterfeiting” in the opening session titled New Technologies in Anti-Counterfeiting. He detailed Bilcare Research’s new offering to the pharma industry, and its ability to end drug counterfeiting decisively and cost-effectively.
